Welcome to FENACULAR.

We aspire to celebrate our vibrant community of artists in Cambridgeshire and encourage creative writing in response to art inspired by the fens.

Each submission period, we will showcase a fen-inspired work from a local creative.

We will simultaneously open for submissions of short writing in any genre which respond to the featured artwork.

Selected writing will be published, alongside the featured artwork, on our website.

We hope to print postcards featuring the artwork and individual pieces of writing (format permitting) for distribution in local communities to promote the inclusion of under-represented groups in art and literature.

FENACULAR aims to showcase local artists working with a range of mediums, such as drawing, painting, printmaking, textiles, glasswork, sculpture, jewellery-making, photography, and more.
